Hoping to do some work here for you all tonight and get this place moving again, but in the meantime...
For those of you who are involved with, or interested in polyamory, ethical sluttery, open relationships, free love, etc. I would love to hear about books (and other media such as comics, movies, anime, etc.), either fiction or non-fiction, which influenced you or which dealt with these themes. I am planning to do a lot of reading on this topic in the near future and I want to hear about what moved you.
I am already aware of the Alt.polyamory Culture FAQ
and M. A. Mohanraj's Alternative Sexualities in Science Fiction
but I would like to know about any other notable reading lists. However, your personal recommendations are most important to me here.
I am looking for unusual books as well as the usual suspects, but if you were moved by the common books -- ethical slut, stranger in a strange land, etc. let me know. I'd also like to know why that book moved you and how it influenced you.
If you have an opinion, it is very important to me that I have your input, even if I haven't friended you back or if you don't want to leave a public comment.
